New to this year’s event for Advance Ticket Holders Only is the “Highs Rodeo Happy Hour”. This will allow Advance Ticket Holders to receive early admission from 5pm to 6pm and so they can enjoy early entrance privileges to the Rodeo Arena for the kid’s “Little Wrangler Rodeo.” Advance Ticket Holders can also enjoy a meet and greet from WPOC Live with top Rodeo Contestants plus early entrance into the kids Mutton Bustin’ Contest!

The Howard County Fairgrounds has a rich history. Farm families and friends gathered annually at Brendel’s Manor Park to celebrate the harvest and to engage in contests of friendly rivalry, formerly known as the Farm Bureau Picnic. From Pomona Grange, Farm Bureau, and individuals who had been involved with Landowners and Farmers Field Day at Howard County Hunt Club, the idea of making the picnic into a full-fledged County Fair developed.
